Getting a spool of cable to where it needs to can be a real headache. The easiest way to transport a cable reel drum is with one of our Cable Drum Trailers. Capable of handling drums with a Working Load Limit (WLL) from 0.83t – 20t and a drum diameter up to 4600mm.

We fully inspect and certify all our cable drum trailers whether hired or sold, so that you can be sure your trailer is safe to use on site or on the UK highway.

If you own cable drum trailer and it is looking a bit tired and needs repairs & re-certifying, we can give a full refurbishment service to your owned trailers.

Most of our cable drum trailers are single axle drum trailers that are road-going and suitable for use on site, but we also have twin axle and multi axle cable drum trailers available for heavier loads that are site only.

For safe and easy drum handling, all our cable drum trailers are fitted with hydraulic hand pump operated lift/lower systems as standard. Alongside this, when the drum is fully raised mechanical locks ensure drum security in transit. (Detailed specifications can be provided on request).

All the cable drum trailers in our Highway Range section are equipped with braking and road lighting systems that conform with EEC Directives. Allowing them to travel fully laden on the UK Highway and most other European Countries.

Designed and supplied specifically for “Off Road Use,” these site trailers are all fitted with some form of brake system, hand parking facility and basic vehicle lights. All units incorporate the same drum handling features as the Highway Range.

Additional to your cable drum trailer hire or purchase, we have a wide range of cable accessories to allow your cable installation run smoothly. If you’re using a cable drum, then it’s likely you will need a cable drum jack and other accessories.
